Cheung Chau

My colleagues G, D and I all had a day off on Monday (in fact it was a public holiday here) and planned to go to Ocean Park but unfortunately D wasn't well and we heard that Ocean Park was expecting it to be the busiest day of the year. So G and I took to ferry to Cheung Chau Island, a 35 minute trip on the fast boat. Had a lovely lunch in a harbourside restaurant then G went for a bracing walk in the hot sun while I ambled and explored. Found this beautiful beach on the other side of the island (less than 5 minutes away!!) and got lots of good shots; it was difficult to choose. When G got back we had a paddle.
