wall-hanging in the making-spot the mistake

when my neighbour's father died she gave me his ties and asked me to make a wall-hanging for his house- which will remain a family holiday home- the house- not the wall-hanging.
He always wore a tie no matter what he was doing. It took me a while to find a pattern to suit the ties.
Last year I made one like this --machine appliqued the pieces, added sashing, pinned it to the wadding- and lost it!! I have given up searching and started again.
When I took the photo I realised there is a strip in the central section that is beige instead of grey- will I change it? Don't know- it is all stuck down with bondaweb
