Hungry All the Time
Temperatures are dropping near 0°C, the winds are chilly and the last leaves are falling fast. We even had a some light snow today which melted instantly.
Even the body seems to be adjusting itself to the coming winter, and that means you have to get lots of food at regular intervals. Heavy meat dishes and hot soups are very much in demand, although the work modern city people do these days is rarely heavy at all.
My metabolism is no different to the average person.
It's 5.15 in the afternoon, less than 3 hours from my lunch, and even this grill-kiosk in front of the railway station looks like a tempting place to visit for a big (unhealthy) portion. Normally I wouldn't give it a second thought.
In Tampere these type of kiosks could be found already in the 1930's, and because of their design, they were dubbed reel-of-thread kiosks.
