The Great Hall.

My daughter and I had a meeting with the wedding planner today to sort out a few things and sat drinking coffee in this wonderful room. We sat on a squishy sofa in the tower which is stone, and the roof of the main hall is wood. I could sit and look up at the amazing workmanship all day..

..I couldn't though because I had an appointment with a consultant about my varicose vein. I've finally decided to get it done and he told me they could do it just by a local anaesthetic which is good. I have to have two weeks before I can fly so I've booked it for April - after my trip to Colorado.

I can get the shorts out again this summer... ;-)
