When nighttime merges with evening glow

Last day with my friend in SD. A day at the beach. This was the day that we joked about other people being idiots and leaving their picnic food unattended and ending up being invaded by seagulls. Then we got excited by playing frisbee and forgot about some of our food sitting out, until I noticed it being ravaged by seagulls! And man, do they smell bad!

This was also the day I discovered just how cold the Pacific can be.

And finally, after watching a lovely sunset on the beach, I snapped this as we were heading home - a little piece of evening and night where the glow from the sunset faded into the stars and moon above. :)
