Love and Like

Today didn't start well, delays first on the train into London and then the underground for me (Chris). The resulting delay to my arrival at my desk wasn't too bad but it still means starting the working day out of sorts.

Back from Bristol for me (Annie) and in contrast to Chris, the start of day went pretty well. But - a work e-mail received later on this evening has made me steamingly mad. Some people are just really annoying - but after a short rant I'm fine. :)

A walk after work along the Southbank (before the tube and train again) for me (Chris). I came across this "installation" outside the Southbank Centre. It wasn't immediately obvious what it was but it was being filmed so I asked. The words you can see were constantly changing and it turned out that these were the current most popular words appearing on Twitter. Coca-Cola had commissioned the piece as part of their social responsibility programme and it was being filmed simply to see what the public response and interaction would be. Separately a camera was photographing the scene every 30 seconds for a time lapse video. All quite interesting. Apparently the two most regularly used words on Twitter today were "love" and "like" which gives a good reflection on the world.
