Lip-smacking

Here is a cute picture of my darling boy savouring his lunch - pea and mint soup, made by his dad.

Today was, as we say around these parts, a sore one. A week ago my beloved auntie died after a short but painful illness and today we said goodbye. Hundreds of people turned up at the church, it was a lovely tribute to the big-hearted, generous woman she was. It was too soon, she suffered too much and it is not fair that my uncle and cousins have been left so bereft.

She had a doll that sits in a chair in her spare bedroom. It has a label on it that says: "If you love someone, make sure you tell them." She knew she was loved and everyone who meant something to her knew she loved them.

It is good advice.
