hoover dam - over the colerado river - which is also the Arizona / Nevada border … drive across the dam and park in Arizona, then walk back across the dam, into Nevada to the visitor centre … great views!

what an amazing feat of engineering and, totally unheard of in this day and age, the project was completed two years ahead of schedule! that in itself is impressive! breathtaking views…

definitely a 'must see' if you're visiting california/arizona/nevada…
