Blip for Richard....

This is for one of my most cherished and beloved friends, Richard.....he now lives in Miami, he used to live in Toronto. I've know Richard for over 30 years, seems impossible, but it is true! I miss him, and his wonderful wife Joyce...they are both very dear and special friends.

He is an amazing artist see here
and is passionate about painting nature. Since moving to the south, he sometimes craves the beautiful colours of our fall up here in the frozen north!
So, i apologise for posting 2 very similiar images back to back....but it was just too stunning to pass by. this is the beautiful little crab apple tree out behind the house....

It is another amazingly warm and glorious day here at Big Hill. Lots of work going on outside.....wood being split and stacked....Terry has just dismantled the outside of the south wall of the barn, well not the whole side... only a 4' x 8' section to accommodate a piece of plexiglass that will bring lots of lovely light into the studio!
