Awaiting their destiny

On my way home from the grocery store the other day, I stopped by this roadside market to check out their apples...but alas they only had these pumpkins. They looked so beautiful just standing there, awaiting their destiny...will they become a jack-o-lantern, a pumpkin pie, or just cow fodder?
