Not expecting delays..

Gran stayed over for a wee bit extra help today to get R to nursery, as E and I had to go meet someone in Dunfermline at 12. We had timed the train and meeting time pretty tightly but when the Railway bloke on the platform said the train is just coming into the station who would have thought 10minutes later he would be telling us it was now cancelled. Is there some kind of Bermuda triangle just outside Waverley. Anyway we caught a train to Inverkeithing and then got a taxi to Dunfermline. Why is the Fife train service so rubbish.? It just confirms to me why I want to stay in town and not cross the Forth.

When I got back to town I popped into the mosque kitchen for some lunch as it was teeming down and I had some time to kill before school pick up. After the mosque I bought some gulab jamon for a desert with a cuppa tea. The girls didn't like it. How could they not? But it just means more for me.

We have been doing sticker books for a wee while and have just carved Mr Pumpkin for Halloween. I allways feel it should be a turnip, but hey, things change.
