"WALKING ON WATER?"

Another 18 degree day. I went out to visit my daughter and passed the Quoque Canal. Much of the canal was frozen and covered with a coating of snow. This section for some reason did not have snow. All the gulls were circling around and landing on the frozen water. It appeared that they were "walking on the water".

I had a difficult time trying to capture a clear shot of the gulls. This seemed to be the best - I choose this shot because I liked the way the sun highlighted the gulls wings as he was landing.
