counters (benches/worktops!) installed

phew! I got tired just watching four men lift this heavy stone into place.
But isn't it . . .  b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l ?  I think so!

This almost did not happen today because of the rain. The installers had to cut out the section where the cook top drops in. This is done when they get here to make sure it fits correctly. And they only do the cutting of the granite outside, because of the extreme amount of dust that is spewed forth. Yuck!

Since it was raining this morning they went to another job but stopped back here this afternoon. The rain had stopped and were able to cut out the cook top area and install.

WOW!

Our renovations should be wrapped up at the end of next week, only 7 weeks from the December 13th start, getting done sooner than expected. I will be highly recommending Duncan's Creative Kitchens to anyone who asks!
