Their Own Private Island

The day began with a bracing walk along Caloundra seafront, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Further north, Cyclone Dylan has lashed Queensland causing localised flooding and some gale damage. This far south, we've had unusually grey skies, blustery winds and sudden squalls of rain - nothing threatening though, thank goodness.

These gulls caught my eye; clustered on their own private sand island!
