Ang Pow

Today was another busy day. Chinese New Year means going out and visiting people, lots of people. So, in-laws, parents, paternal aunties (x2), in-laws' extended family, maternal extended family … and then back home. Long day. Ate too many new year goodies, ate too much food, as usual. In theory lots of photo opportunities, in reality, I only took two photos today.

But, I consider this a sort of reinvention of the ang pow - the red packet with money in it that we give to children and unmarried relatives to bestow good wishes and blessings on them. Today, I give you the red brick wall, with coins in the phone, as a virtual red packet to all you fellow blippers to bestow new year blessings on you.

Okay, it's a real stretch, but I'm trying!!
