"A Wonderful Concert"

This evening Howard Shelley conducted the Mozart Players in a performance of Dvorak's New World Symphony at Fairfield Halls Croydon. it was absolutely marvellous!!! Vibrant and full of life yet bringing out the full beauty of the melodies
My friend and I were in the cheapest seats in the choir behind the orchestra and we were on the front row so I was able to take some photographs during the applause. it was good to be so close to the performers ---the leading lady playing her part to perfection, the double bass player so involved he might have been a soloist and the triangle player who needed to be in a meditative state most of the time as he had so little to do and his one time with the symbols had to be so quiet it almost wasn't there. A really joyful evening.
