Impressive Heights

It was late October. We went out for a week-end of hiking in the Maritime-Alps, France, to enjoy the colours of fall. Once the tent was set up, we explored the area of Mount Bégo and gained some height in order to savour the last sunrays. It is not only the lovely light on the distant peak of Malédie, but also the moment my friend slipped that made this scene so special.
