The next storm

I was out a bit earlier this morning because Mrs M had an appointment at 09.30. Lamberts was a little darker than usual but towards the east I could see the dark shape of Portland against the warm glow of the rising sun and the sky was getting lighter. I began to wonder where our promised storm was.

As my route took me back towards the south I could see the massive storm clouds bubbling up. By 10.30 when Mrs M had finished her appointment it had started to rain and by 11.30 after we had finished our shopping it was raining heavily.

The forecast says that we will have over 2 inches of rain today and more tomorrow
