Year of the Horse

Not all storm-struck trees are chopped and chipped around here. When this one was damaged in 2007 a band of sculptors called the Tree Pirates took their chainsaws to it to create this: Pegasus, the winged horse of Woking.

Today marks the start of the Chinese Year of the Horse - which is supposed to bring wealth and prosperity. So I wish you a prosperous New Year. But, should lightning strike, I hope you'll still be able to make something of it.
