Lost and found

Today I had a meeting in town so on the way home I decided to take a complete chance and visit the carpark where I parked last week when I lost my ring.
I thought that at least if I went there and looked and it was still lost, I had tried everything in my power to recover it.
I knew where I had parked and walked around the car that was occupying the space I had last week.
My ring was right there in the dirt, I saw it straight away, I couldn't believe it!
I'm really pleased that I took the chance!

In other news, my exciting announcement was that from 50,000 applicants, I have been selected as 1 of the 15,000 volunteers from the Glasgow Commonwealth Games later this year!
I was really really surprised when I got the email, after, what I thought was such a rubbishy executed interview.
I still need to tell a few other people, including my Mum but it's nice that good things are happening!
