Wind and snow...

This was the second ferry back on at Rhubodach after a day of wind and snow. I'm sure if there had been a bigger fall of snow the Oban Express van would have ploughed a furrow through the drifts and got me safely back over the back road to Dunoon. For a lot of the day (funeral, lunches, meetings) I thought I was going to be marooned overnight, along with my wife who also works on the island. But, we judged, the kids (teenagers as they are) would be fine with the freezer full of frozen pizzas!
