Bird Tornado

In Essex for a few days with mum. Saw a great photo by MarknLizzie and I wanted to see these little flockers. The day was grey and miserable , windy and cold. Mum stayed in the car. You could see several flocks of these birds whizzing up and down the estuary flickering and changing shape. We stayed watching them for a while. There were many other birds to see also. Oyster Catchers are one of my favourite birds. I so hope old Boris gives up on his plans to build an airport here. The bird life is wonderful
