Prelude - then anticlimax!

Off to Maynardville to see Richard III, always a marvellous open-air show, well reviewed production, and we've assembled 17 to go as a party. Great food (I make Coronation Chicken), lots of wines, lovely company ... Then , as we move from our picnic towards the theatre, hiatus.
We'd noticed the traffic-lights weren't working as we approached Wynberg. Now we wait 35 minutes in the gathering gloom, and finally are told: Eskom are having a "power-outage", so no show.
Maybe next week we'll have another go?
