Leap

Tomorrow I'm meeting two friends to critique our 'best 13 from 2013' - thirteen photos chosen out of around 3,000 that I've kept over the past year. It was easy to choose sixty (which makes me wonder about my editing skills when it comes to my own work). After that I grouped them into themes and whittled down to thirteen with a little more difficulty.
I have a couple of images I'm still pleased with in the final set, the rest best represent my interests, obsessions, repeated themes that have developed over the past year. It was exhilarating to do.
