With a little help from my pals...

I'm celebrating my first year of blipping. :)) Celebrate BIG!

I'm not sure were a whole year went... it seemed to fly by. And I know I enjoyed this past year more than most years simply because of blip. I see things differently, I care to learn more about what I see and I'm having fun sharing all of that with you!

Last year, my reason for starting blip was a very simple one: to take more pictures and become better at taking the images that I captured. I'm feeling much more confident about my photography, sure, but so many unexpected things came along with that commitment to an image a day... Namely the friends that I've found on this site. At first a "sub" was exciting because I couldn't imagine someone being interested in following my journal. Then it became a reason to follow yours... to see what you see and hear about your experiences. That's when blip started to change for me. I really care to post something that I've put a lot of thought into, mostly because I see it as a communication tool for the blippers who happen to look in or for those friends who diligently follow my journal.

I can't thank you all enough for all of the comments and more over the last year, it has meant a lot to me. Quitting blip doesn't seem like an option... What would I do with myself?? ;) Where would I share all of the beautiful things I see? I do think I will branch out a bit and try new avenues of photography (the how and where of landscapes has had me scratching my brain...). Who knows what else I'll get interested in or where else photography and blipping will take me. But as always, I know I will enjoy sharing it with you. :)
