Memories

Long day at work, jumped off the bus and into the car and home as quick as the traffic allowed.
Through the door, upstairs, showered, shaved, dressed and out to the local Sea Cadet unit.

TS Robert Hichens, seems like I've been visiting it for years and probably have, I persuaded the Falmouth RNA to sponsor a berth on the sail training ship, purchased a suitable trophy and the best cadet each year is presented with the RNA Cadet Of The Year Cup.

I always enjoy the evening, apart from the Prize Giving Evening when I was invited to present the awards, speak to the Cadets and to the parents and VIP's, but particularly the Sunset & Evening Colours ceremony, it reminds me of how much I miss the Navy.
