The desert

is so much colder than you think during winter. The sand is also much finer and it goes everywhere. It is in many ways a very inhospitable environment to stay in. Oh, did I mention that camels really sound like wookies. And Jedi's hooded coat? I think I know where Geoge Lucas got his inspiration from, it's all out there!
