Finger Paint

I shot a few blips on a walk late this afternoon and had settled on one for today.

Then we went to an early evening reception for a small show by my friend Andrew, and I took just a few shots--this was just one of two close-ups. His paintings are fairly large, and he did all of them with his fingers (using nurses' plastic gloves). They are very striking, and this is my preferred blip--unexpected, but I'm delighted with it. The image shows an area ca. 12 inches across (30cm.)

Edit: This reminds me of the ice crystals I posted two weeks ago--both blips have a very organic feel.
