Classics

Classic still life paintings and photographs include fruit (often apples, pears and grapes) or floral arrangements. Still life photography has been inspired by painters and vice versa. Both have been inspired by what they see in real life.

I chose this photo of a painting done by our daughter-in-law when she was a Fine Arts Student at University. In the corner are fresh cut red roses, just starting to open - a gift from our other daughter-in-law. Both young ladies are thoughtful and talented and have enriched my life!
