Flight

I should be moving today. But I have a building consent package I need to finish, plus a couple of other things. Ah well.

My mother's cousin from London, visited for lunch today. She is always good company, funny, interesting, interested, and enthusiastic. I'd rather she lived around the corner than the other side of the world. But so it is with all the people I love who live somewhere other than here.

A walk after dinner took me to the top of the hill, with sky to the east, north and west (trees block the sky to the south). The birds were enjoying the evening, and I enjoyed watching them.
