Puraukanui Falls

As I mentioned yesterday the plan today was to head to the Catlins to catch up with family that I used to teach in Murch. I duly set off at around 9am - supposedly with loads of time to hit some waterfalls (not literally of course) and then go for lunch with Sally and family. I hadn't factored in how much longer it was going to take me to do the coastal road round the Catlins and so I only just made it in time for lunch and that was without any major stops (apart from Fortrose and oh breakfast in Riverton)

Anywya after a fabulous afternoon catching up on all the gossip I headed off back down to Puruakanui Falls. Was going to go to Matai and possibly McLeans too but I really was VERY late.
The falls are the most photographed in NZ apparently so alas my photo isn't unique :-)
