Another morning diner

No sign of the squirrel this morning, but instead I managed to catch one of my favourite birds, the nuthatch, as he was selecting the best sunflower seeds for his breakfast. When they have young to feed in the spring/summer they will often toss out seeds from the feeder that are too large until they find ones just the right size for their chicks - the wood pigeons and collared dove's love this of course as they just sit underneath the feeder and pick up the discarded bounty!
