Credit Union launch

This is our Mayor, Councillor Iris White, today announcing the official inauguration of a new Nottingham Credit Union information service in our community cafe "Rumbletums", where Fiona and I work as volunteers, and which provides employment and development opportunities for young adults with learning disabilities.
Credit Unions are valuable organisations, offering affordable and fair banking and credit facilities to those who might not otherwise be able to access them. They both compete with and supplement the services offered big commercial high-street banks.
It is heartwarming and very satisfying for us to be involved in Rumbletums - an enterprise that is becoming firmly established as a popular and valuable community/social asset.
