The golf course was closed today, the first Saturday to be closed this year. the rain yesterday took its toll but this morning was glorious and my disappointment was lifted when I got this nice shot of a female woodpecker. In the past I have never quite been able to get the right angle ,or a branch has been in the way, so was well pleased with this.
