Birthday Bunch

Part of a bunch of roses my dearest received today for her birthday. Breakfast in bed followed by lunch out, dinner with friends this evening and then off to the airport to pick up our son who is flying in from London.

My daughter and her husband will be up next weekend so the whole family will be together and it will be a second weekend of good and happy things. As to the age of my dearest this has to remain a state secret but I will put it in writing that she really does look only forty :-).

Snow now blowing through so time to get the coffee on and feet up before we go out tonight.
