Law and justice

Lady Law to the left, showing her leg (what has this to do with law ?), Lady Justice to the right. Their home is the Tour de l'Horloge, belonging to the Palace of Justice in Paris.

The tower was built around 1350 and 1370 the first Parisian tower clock was installed. Over the centuries there were various minor and major changes and restaurations. The last restauration just finished in November 2012, bringing back the bright colours.
