One Year, One Tree

Or vice versa. Today I think, marks the start of a One Year/One Tree Project - actually I'm pretty certain on that. What I'm not so sure about is whether this will end up as the eponymous tree.

I know what I'm after but it's surprisingly difficult to find a suitable subject that doesn't have a distracting background or another tree too nearby.

So the search may go on.

In other news, it's February. Which means it isn't January. Which is good. Last January was not a good one for us at all and snow and freezing conditions on top of everything made it a very trying time. So, farewell January 2014. You were wet and miserable but pleasingly uneventful.
