Sheltered Anchorage
Plymouth Sound on a cold afternoon which saw the wind blowing at gale force or beyond, and made it a real effort to walk into it or stand still. The sea is relatively calm because the Sound is sheltered from the westerly gale by South East Cornwall. A day when the sky and sea were both a leaden grey colour; this is not a monochrome shot!
