deep in conversation

Alice and Storm perched on the window sill catching the last of the sun at the front of the house.

Today has been an Alice day. She will be 15 on the 9th and will be having a sleepover. She has worked hard sorting her room in preparation. We have rearranged her furniture and bought a few bits to help store her things.

I asked Chris (aged 13) if he wanted to help assemble the flatpack bookcase to which he replied "No, I'm a kid". I think that will have to be used against him at some point...

Good walk with the pups along in the opposite direction to yesterday along the Cuckoo Trail, mainly in the dry. There were a few hailstones which resulted in a beautiful rainbow over the duckpond. If the end had been visible the arc would have grounded over the dog poo bin which made me laugh :)
