On the way to catch some Klee

A damp day to be on the river but being in tourist mode yesterday I decided to take the river boat down the Thames to Tate Modern. I love the views of London from the Thames. Took this pic of St Paul's on the point of passing under Blackfriars Bridge. I was keen to see the Paul Klee exhibition and it was worth the trip.

Sneaked a look at Borough Market but it wasn't the time to be there weather wise. Just had time to purchase a bag of Artisan du Chocolat misshapes - yum, will go back for more of those - and pop briefly into Southwark Cathedral.

Got utterly drenched on a walk back up to Lincoln's Inn Fields where I was meeting an old friend. Walking back thro London legal land on a dark rainy night felt like stepping back in time. Was jolted back to reality witnessing an elderly gent having been knocked down by a taxi on the corner of the square. He walked off into the night declining offers to call an ambulance. I do hope he is alright.
