A Blast of Colour

The day started quite promising, with bright sunshine. By the time I had done my chores and got organised it was clouding over and it rapidly deteriorated with strong winds and heavy rain.
This blast of colour on a grey, wet and windy day is a U.S. Peterbilt truck outside Murty's Garage, between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.
The Murty family - who own the garage - have been heavily involved in drag racing and truck racing for many years.
I love these big American trucks and I think this monster makes a very eye-catching advertisement for their tyres :-)

As I post this blip the rain is battering on the windows - I may have to have a wee dram to steady my nerves :-)
