Orange and White Chocolate Sponge

My new cooker's here so I'm baking again :-) I won't ever win prizes for decoration despite sprinkling it with 'gold' dust powder, but I'm told it tastes pretty good!

The day started bright but it's been raining again and rather cold. There was nothing else for it - it had to be curry for dinner! I made a Sri Lankan prawn and spinach biryani. It needed medium curry powder, a bay leaf, fresh ginger and 7 other spices but I only had to buy the ginger - I already had everything else. I left the chilli out though!
