Down by the riverside
We went down to the river to feed the ducks (gulls) this morning on our way to coffee. I spotted this squirrel on the grassy bank and he obliged by posing for a few shots, then he was spooked and raced off up a tree. I followed him with the lens and was pleased to capture (on film) him halfway up. So here especially for Roz, who’s left me to visit her mum in Ayr, is a squirrel (albeit still a tree rat) looking after himself in the wilds as opposed to raiding garden bird feeders.
The afternoon was spent at home including watching England in the Six Nations which although close (after a pretty awful first half) ended in defeat. Oh well, Scotland v Ireland tomorrow and I can remain neutral, at least Wales delivered the goods!
