It's a Gull's Life
Back at Cooper Park this morning before Music Centre, snatching the half hour of decent light today. g3ymk kindly lent me his 50-500mm lens (aka 'the beast') to try out in preparation for getting my own similar sized monster. (Saving has begun.) There haven't been many days with enough light to take it out, but Tuesday's rekkie made me think a little trip to Elgin would be worth it before I gave it back this afternoon. Cheers Tony btw!
I am 95% sure this is a winter-coated Black headed gull, but the little gull can look similar too so am hedging my bets. There were a long queue of these guys, presumably waiting for breakfast(?), along with a rather charming Mandarin duck.
