Daddy's girl

I am trying to make a photo mosaic of my dad for his 80th birthday. It's hard! This is a first attempt.

The images are slides which he recently scanned from my childhood and gave to me. I'm going to add other images from important parts of his life - his time in the lab as a biochemist, places he worked, papers he wrote, his parents and friends. Tomorrow I'm going to visit him and give a try at taking a good portrait!

The image is meant to represent him as he is today at 80 - a wonderful person and connected to the people and things in his life.

Doing this makes fills me with love and appreciation for my Dad :)
