Two umbrellas

The Radcliffe Meteorological Station next to the old observatory has been measuring Oxford’s weather since 1767, daily since 1815. This January’s rainfall was greater than for any winter month they’ve previously recorded, and three times the average amount.

Which makes only two umbrellas quite abstemious, really, despite the surprising spot of sunshine we had this morning.
