Chesterton Windmill

Draco and GrahamColling had a blipmeet planned for today, but the combination of bad weather and some urgent family matters combined to have the event cancelled.

I thought I would head up there anyway, an excuse to drop in on the Motor Heritage Museum at Gaydon with Oliver (as he is now completely Top Gear mad) and then popped on to see the mill. Ran into AnnieAndChris at the museum, and subsequently at the mill, and also Draco.

The ground was absolutely sodden, the wind was very strong and it was pretty cold. Oliver got very muddy, we both got cold, and probably got there a little bit late. Draco got a cracking picture of the mill and the sun shining through the clouds.

Looking forward to another opportunity to go up there, in hopefully better weather.
