Stormy waves at St Mary's Lighthouse, Whitley Bay

I have been busy of late so very few blips but came out for a drive to blow away the cobwebs.

We headed here thinking a catering van would be there with a cuppa but alas no, too wet & wild so the iphone came out the car with a huge waterproof jacket & down I ventured within safe distance of the waves.

Its a very high tide today so the waves were crashing in. Ohhh no gloves though so this was my best shot before my fingers went numb!
