The Boss!

We started early and had an late lunch in the form of a tailgate party before heading to the FNB complex where the concert was being held in the calabash.

An hour or two in a beer garden with some mad friends was just the right build up to a great show.

We were in the nosebleed part of the stadium but it kind of worked in our favour as we were under the roof when the heavens opened about half way through.

Mr Springsteen seemed to enjoy the rain, maybe it helped keep him cool as he and the E Street band were on stage for over three hours.

We also managed to get back to the truck before the heavens opened again.
