Penta in Bush Form

This is one of the largest Penta flower bushes I have ever seen. This one has a violet flower which is unusual, and then to have it be such a large plant and shaped into a bush form, well, it is one of the nicest I have seen. I have a tall red one but it is not as dense as this one. This planting is located in a shopping center where Fresh Market is located on Manatee Avenue in the west area of Bradenton, Florida The Promenade Shopping Center is a smallish strip center with some of the nicest landscaping in a retail center I have seen. They also have a similar center on Cortez Road which has very similar landscaping. They use a variety of colorful and always blooming plants to add to their ambiance. Good irrigation, some fertilizer and well planned plant selection and care can do wonders for often boring parking lots.
